1. McDonald's is launching a spinoff restaurant chain called CosMc's, which will retain the DNA of McDonald's but have its own unique personality, according to CEO Chris Kempczinsk

McDonald's has announced the creation of a spinoff restaurant chain called CosMc's. 

According to McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski, CosMc's will have all the DNA of McDonald's but will feature its own unique personality. 

The company plans to test the CosMc's concept in a limited number of sites in early 2024. 

More details about the CosMc's concept will be shared at McDonald's investor day in December.
